UCAN TOURS NZ Ltd is owned and directed by Chris Wornall. 

Chris, a born and bred Kiwi, uses a wheelchair and is paralyzed as a result of Polio he caught while traveling in India in 1980.

After rehabilitation, Chris trained and worked as a counselor specialising in disability issues before being attracted to yachting.

For 8 years he traveled to Scandinavia, Europe, USA, Asia and Australia while representing NZ in the single handed 2.4mR class of yacht. During this time he initiated the class in NZ and organized and fundraised a 5 person yachting team to the Paralympics in Atlanta.

"I have been round the world in my wheelchair and visited other people's countries", says Chris,

"And now I would like to invite people from other countries to visit my beautiful country."
